Research activities of the Department of Applied Nuclear Physics are focused on selected topics of nuclear physics and the use of complementary advanced techniques in areas such as environmental sciences, investigations of biological systems at different levels of complexity, material sciences as well as their industrial applications.
The Department is responsible for B.Sc and M.Sc studies in two disciplines: Technical Physics and the newly created Micro- and Nanotechnology in Biophysics offered by the Faculty.
